Angel Becomes Romeo for more than one Juliet!

Last Thursday saw the Angel play host to a magnificent Alpha Romeo Giulietta owners club. We don’t think the Angel has ever had so many amorous ladies at its feet!  The cars looked and sounded magnificent, and their owners all enjoyed lunch in the brasserie.

The Alfa Romeo Giulietta Sprint range first appeared in 1954. The Sprint used a twin-overhead cam 1290cc engine which produced around 90bhp. This summer saw a celebratory tour which showed off 3000 Alphas in Milan.   An English contingency set out via Calais and covered 2000 miles in 12 days, covering Burgundy, the Jura, Nice and the Alps.  More information can be found at
