The Angel, under the leadership of the late Denis Watkins has over many years raised funds for third world causes. For the last six years these funds have been directed towards UNICEF to be used for clean water and sanitation project in Africa. Together with funds raising charity dinners, we have donated 50pence on every bottle of Angel Inn water directly to UNICEF. So far this has raised £40,954 up to the end of December 2007.

We are now also involved in raising funds for the newly registered charitable trust in memory of the late Denis Watkins. These funds are being dispersed to the good causes that were close to Denis’s heart. Already we have been able to fund a water bore hole and latrines on a project in Zambia. We have also supported a children’s rescue centre in the Philippines.
